Thelma Wasden Springer, age 81, of Greenville died peacefully at her home surrounded by love on Thursday, Oct. 31. Funeral Services was held on Saturday, Nov. 2, beginning at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Crysell officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial immediately followed at Antioch West Cemetery with Dunklin Funeral Home directing.
Thelma is preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank J. Springer; parents, Elijah and Etheline Wasden and sons, George Randall Springer and William “Bill” Coker; as well as eight siblings. Left behind to cherish her precious memory are her daughter, Frankie Michelle Springer; sons, Deron (Joanne) Springer and Joseph Springer; brother, Elmer Wasden; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Thelma was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Her passing leaves a hole in so many hearts. To know Thelma was to love Thelma. She will be deeply missed by so many.
