The 7th annual Holiday Market is set to take place at the Butler County Fairgrounds in Greenville on Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., boasting over 50 vendors and new attractions.
“This is the biggest year yet,” said Event Coordinator Amy Hallford. “We have about 50 vendors lined up. Also new this year is ‘Food Truck Row,’ so when you walk through the building at the back, there will be a row of food trucks.”
Attendees can explore a wide variety of handcrafted items such as woodworks, door hangers, jewelry, handmade bows and pet products, among many others.
The event is free to the public and offers more than just shopping. A prize booth will be available where visitors can enter to win special prizes provided by each vendor.
“It’s just a way to help our locals,” said Hallford. “A lot of crafters and entrepreneurs depend on events such as this and if we can help them make some extra money for the holidays, it’s a win,” Hallford said.
Organizers are encouraging the community to come out and see what local artisans have to offer.
“Come out and see what people are bringing from all over,” Hallford said. “You can find personalized gifts for people and get some of your wish list marked off.”
