This October, 4-H members are invited to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship in the exciting eXtreme Birdhouse contest. This annual event encourages youth to design and build innovative birdhouses that can be made of any material.
Don’t worry about weatherproofing. There is no right or wrong way to do it, so let’s highlight your unique artistic flair. Find all the details on the contest of the month at https://www.aces.edu/blog/topics/leadership-4-h/extreme-birdhouse/.
Not a 4-H member, we can take care of that. Simply head over to the Butler County Extension office located in downtown Greenville at 101 S Conecuh Street and fill out a 4-H membership form or go online to http://v2.4honline.com.
The deadline to submit your birdhouse is Nov. 11 and they can be dropped off at the extension office. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your 4-H Youth Development Coordinator Beth Fair at 334-368-6896.
