The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACOC) and the Greenville-Butler County Public Library will host their annual Fall Supper Social on Oct. 17 at the library’s Camellia Pavilion. The event, open to the public, promises an evening of food, entertainment and networking.
“This year’s Fall Supper Social is shaping up to be a great event,” said Tracy Salter, executive director of the GACOC. “Guests can expect to enjoy some great food and live entertainment.”
The evening will feature a fish fry-style feast catered by Uncle E’s BBQ & Catering, offering a menu of catfish filets, chicken tenders, hush puppies, cheese grits, coleslaw and desserts.
Entertainment will be provided by 55 South, a high-energy band known for its mix of new and old country hits from artists like Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Tanya Tucker and The Cranberries.
In addition to food and music, attendees will have the chance to win door prizes.
“The Fall Supper Social is a wonderful opportunity to network and socialize with others within the community,” Salter added.
The event is for guests 21 and over, with tickets priced at $30. Tickets can be purchased at the chamber office in the Train Depot or the Greenville-Butler County Library.
“We always look forward to hosting this event with the Chamber,” said library director Kevin Pearcey. “It’s a chance for us to show off the beautiful grounds of the library in a relaxed, social setting, and everyone always has a great time.”
The deadline to purchase tickets is Oct. 15 by noon, and the chamber will deliver tickets to local businesses or offices within Greenville.
