* First Baptist Church in Greenville will celebrate its 168th anniversary with a homecoming service Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. Following homecoming is a three-day revival beginning at 7 p.m., with guest speakers Daniel Wilson on Oct.7, Randy Harvill on Oct. 8  and Bishop Wiley Thornton, III, on Oct. 9.

* Mount Moriah Fellowship Church invites the community to join members on Sunday, Oct. 13 to celebrate worship at 11 a.m. followed by dinner on the grounds. At 12:45 p.m., the  Colonial Dames of XVII Century will present and dedicate a historical plaque.

* Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville is hosting a Fall Frenzy Oct. 12 at 11 a.m followed by Family and Friends Day Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1:30 p.m. with guest speaker Chad Richardson.

* Walnut Street Church of Christ is planning a gospel meeting featuring Michael Shepherd from West Side Church of Christ in Pensacola Oct. 20 – 23. Sunday begins at 9:30 a.m. and Monday through Wednesday starts at 7 p.m.

* Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville will present a Women’s Chuck Sneakers and Pearls Conference and Brunch themed “Better Together” Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Guest speaker will be pastor Katrina Roper Smith.
