Camellia’s Pizza and Creamery (formerly Camellia’s Sweet Treats) is set to open a new location in the Old Pizza Pro building, located at 219 Cedar Street. The new venue will offer seating for 40-60 people, an arcade area, a pool table and outdoor seating.

“We’ve had a crew in there for about four weeks now and they’re moving so fast,” said owner Chapman Simmons. “We’ve been putting in late nights and overnights. We’re shooting to open the weekend after Labor Day.”

The Greenville location will be rebranded as Camellia’s Pizza and Creamery, reflecting the business’s focus on creating a family atmosphere. The Andalusia location and a mobile trailer will continue under the Camellia’s Sweet Treats name.

Simmons also revealed that the new location will still offer their signature ice cream along with a pizza menu, new bowls and a full salad bar. The business is further expanding with the addition of a new food truck, Smash Mouth Foods. 

“It’s a burger truck,” Simmons explained. “It’s going to be stationed in the back with a nice outdoor seating area.”
