Janice L. Kennedy, a resident of Selma, passed away peacefully on Aug. 14 at the age of 69.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, Aug. 19, beginning at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial followed in Antioch East Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends for visitation beginning at 9 a.m. until service time.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bud” Smith and Marie Smith Bearden; siblings, Judy Lynn Smith and Jerry L. Smith and grandchild, Bryce Alan Rodgers.

She is survived by her siblings, Joyce (Bill) Bolin, Leon (Alicia) Smith, Julian (Dianne) Smith, Jennifer (Charles) Miller and Jay (Heather) Smith; children, Dennis (Leslie) Small and Dawn (Michael) Rodgers; grandchildren, Kayla Small, Jacob Small, Bryson Small, Tristen Stinson and Keller Rodgers and great grandchild, John Waylon McKenzie.
