In 1998, he married Jenny and they settled in Orlando until moving to Crawfordville, Florida in 2019 to be closer to family.
Harwell is survived by his wife Jenny, sons Tony Bush (Beryl Lynn Bush) and Beau, brother Ed Quillian (Ruth), niece Sharon Maddox (Ben) and nephew Jimmy Stinson plus their families Aaron Bush, Sean Bush, Aaron Stinson, Matthew Maddox, Morgan Maddox and Sylvia Maddox.
