As colleges and universities close their spring terms, several Greenville students were named among the top achievers for displaying academic excellence in spring 2024 courses.

Mercer University in Macon, Georgia named Kiah Shealy to its spring 2024 dean’s list. The Greenville native is a junior enrolled with Mercer’s School of Business and achieved the honor by meeting rigorous grade point average (GPA) standards.

Josephine Smith of Greenville was named to the University of Kentucky College of ARts and Sciences spring 2024 dean’s list. Smith was among 1,800 undergraduate students who qualified for the honor by earning 12 or more credit hours as letter grades with a minimum 3.6 GPA for the semester.
