Blood Drive
Walmart in Greenville will host a LifeSouth blood drive March 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Spring Break
Fort Dale Academy’s Spring Break is March 18-22. Butler County Schools will have Spring Break March 25-29.
Health Fair
Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama, in partnership with O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB will host a Community Health Fair March 21 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the RMCCA Campus. The event will feature a walk-thru colon display, fun walk, Q&A and Commissioners Pit Food Truck.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 760 N. Conecuh St. in Greenville. The group deals with all types of issues and is free to the public. For more information call 334-382-2138.
Quilt Club
Quilt Club meets every Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library. Beginner and advanced quilters welcome.
Book Club
The No Stress Book Club will be held at 4 p.m. every second and fourth Wednesday of month at the Greenville Butler County Public Library, located at 309 Fort Dale Road.
Music Class
FUMC is hosting a juniors music class for elementary kids aged 4-10 at 6 p.m. on Wednesday nights at 112 Adams St. Singing, handbells, and rhythm instruments. Call 382-5872 for more info.

Quilt Club meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library. Beginner and advanced knitters welcome.

Bird Houses
The Butler County Extension office is holding a 4-H Extreme Birdhouse Competition for children ages 9-18. Entry deadline is March 22. Children must be enrolled in 4-H to participate.
Car Wash
The Butler County Humane Society will hold a carwash at O’Reily’s with a pizza party afterwards on March 23 from 12-4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Jr. Humane Society.
Last Supper
St. Thomas Episcopal Church will present a theatrical production called The Living Last Supper at The Ritz Theatre on March 26 at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
Senior Boxes
Shepherd’s Table senior boxes will be available March 27. Items are only available while supplies last.
Yard Sale
A yard sale will be held at 523 Greenville Bypass on April 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. to benefit The Crisis Closet, a non -profit organization, in their ongoing efforts to to help those in need. Household items, home decor, clothes, glassware, furniture and much more will be for sale.
Bloom Conference
Southside Baptist Church will host Bloom Where You Are women’s conference April 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. featuring guest speaker Andrea Lennon. The cost is $25, including breakfast and lunch. Register by April 1 by calling (334) 382-6224.
Smokin’ in Park
The Georgiana Police department will hold Smokin’ in the Park on April 12-13 for a cook-off fundraiser. There is a $50 entry fee per team. For questions or to register for the contest call Chief Jeremy Peagler at 334-453-1035 or Ray Van Cor at 334-362-3836.
Calico Fort
Calico Fort is scheduled for April 13-14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Butler County Humane Society will be on hand to provide pet sitting.

The Butler County Humane Society will host Pups on the Patio at Wintzell’s April 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Trashin’ Park
Trashin’ the Park, an Earth Day recycle event, will take place April 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on South Park Street, across from City Hall. Drive-thru recycling for electronics and small appliances, drug takeback and a food drive for a local food bank will be available.
