The Greenville High School (GHS) varsity basketball team has begun their season. The team’s game against Hillcrest High School ended with a 67-35 loss. At press time the Tiger’s were gearing up to face Wilcox Central on Nov. 28.

The Greenville varsity basketball team members are: Kevin Johnson Jr., KeJuan Armstrong, JJ Washington, Tashawn Thompson, Eriyon Rudolph, Reggion Reed, Easton Pierce, Torence Phillips, Ty Phillips, LaDarrion McCall, Josh Jenkins, Benen Gaston, Kendre Bullard and Bruce Albritton. The team’s coaches include Johnathan Grace, Nick McHenry and Kent Riley.
