Sean Dietrich, also known as Sean of the South, made his return to Greenville in a lively performance at the Ritz Theatre, and to mingle with community members at his book signing reception following the sold-out show on Nov. 16.
As Dietrich opened his performance, he was surprised by Mayor Dexter McClendon who presented him with a key to the city, in honor of Dietrich’s aid to the local children’s charity Safe Harbor, and in the words of the Mayor, “Through his inspirational and encouraging words, he has won the hearts to hundreds of Greenville citizens.”
Dietrich was thrown a Christmas-themed reception and book signing hosted by Linda and Jack Daughtry. Many community members provided desserts for the affair, and Priester’s Pecans donated pies and a tray of Dietrich’s favorite treat – Fiddlesticks.
