Grayson crowned Miss LBW

Greenville native Rhian Grayson was crowned Miss LBW Thursday, when Lurleen B. Wallace (LBW) Community College hosted its 2023-2024 pageant. She competed for the crown among 11 finalists who attend LBW and are active in their communities.
Grayson is a sophomore at LBW where she is a vocalist in the community college’s ensemble. She is involved with the Bleed Blue Crew, Common Ground and Compass Club at LBW, all while working as a barista at Southern Ground Coffeehouse.
Grayson is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and is also a 2022 graduate of Greenville High School.
The 2023 Miss LBW, Audrey Danford crowned Grayson and presented awards to other top finalists who included Olivia Mikel from Andalusia as First Alternate, Self-Expression winner, and top Talent winner; Second Alternate Kayley Peebles form Red Level; Emma Poore from Sylacauga who was chosen as the Wellness recipient and Andalusia’s neat Woodham who won and award for her interview.
Grayson and the other finalists hosted the first “Tea with a Queen ” event on Nov. 4, providing a meet and greet opportunity for the community to become acquainted with participants and to purchase tickets for a raffle to benefit the LBW Student Government Association (SGA).
