Blood Drive
Lifesouth Community Blood Center will have a blood drive at the Georgiana School on Nov. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Turkey Shoot
The Greenville American Legion Post 24 will hold a turkey shoot at the Central Volunteer Fire Department on 3815 Halso Mill Road in Greenville beginning at 9 a.m. on Nov. 4. The event is open to shooters ages eight to 12 and 13-85. The cost is $5 per shot.
Camp Stew Sale
The Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual camp stew sale on Nov. 4. The stew will be available for pick up starting at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 10433 Steiner Store Road for $13 a quart. Call 334-368-4191 for more information.
Car Wash
The Humane Society will host a car wash at O’Reily’s with pizza on Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Please attend to help sponsor the society’s $200 trip in April.

Lifesouth Community Blood Center will have a blood drive at the Walmart in Greenville on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Humane Meeting
The Butler County Humane Society will hold its regular meeting from 12-2 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Cambrian Ridge.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 760 N. Conecuh St. in Greenville. The group deals with all types of issues and is free to the public. For more information call 334-382-2138.
Music Class
FUMC is hosting a juniors music class for elementary kids aged 4-10 at 6 p.m. on Wednesday nights at 112 Adams St. Singing, handbells, and rhythm instruments. Call 382-5872 for more info.

Spring Creek Festival
The annual Spring Creek Homemakers’ Fall Festival will be held on Nov. 18 from 8-10 a.m. at the Spring Creek Fire Department on Steiner Store Road in Honoraville. Home baked pies, cakes, cheese straws, jellies, jams and pickles will be available with white elephant items. Proceeds to benefit the Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Humane Society
There will be a second chance rescue opportunity on Nov. 18 from 10-11 a.m. Humane Society volunteers will go out to Miss Kandy’s Sanctuary and visit all the animals. We will meet at Old Searcy School House.
Miss Merry Christmas
The Pageant will be hosted at the Ritz on Nov. 18. The deadline to enter is Nov. 4. There is a limit of 10 contestants per age category. The categories include: Baby, Mini, Tiny Tot, Tiny, Petite, Little, Junior, Teen, Miss, Ms. and Madam. Call Michelle Styron for information at 334-662-7923.
