The Greenville Police Department hosted its annual Cops and Kids free event on Oct. 25. The event is geared towards the community meeting and getting to know local safety officers. Students came in shifts during school hours to enjoy the event and an outdoor outing. The fun features included rock climbing, a bounce house, games, firearms presentations, police car and siren explorations, a police canine meet and greet, Sweet Treats food truck, and local department personnel who gave treats and gifts to students.
