The Alabama Dixie Debs All Stars captured the runners-up title Monday, bringing home the team trophy, medals, and individual player trophies from the Dixie Softball World Series. During the tournament, the Alabama Debs won against Centreville, Tennessee in a 10-0 shutout Saturday morning, fell to the North Carolina All Stars Saturday afternoon, 6-0, and then defeated Mississippi on Sunday, 8-3. The girls faced North Carolina, 7-5 in an elimination game Sunday but fell to the Alexandria All Starts Monday, 17-0 to claim the World Series Runners-up title.
