Community members and local officials gathered Thursday morning for the ribbon cutting ceremony of Aveanna Hospice. Aveanna provides advanced palliative care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing patients to be under the care of medical professionals in the comfort of your home (or familiar surroundings) with family and those closest to you. The hospice is ready to serve the community, and is fully equipped to care for terminally ill patients, to help manage pain and symptoms, and minimize effects of disease.
