Greenville baseball supporters and golfers participated in a golf tournament on Friday to raise money for the Greenville Tigers baseball program. Funds collected from entry fees and hole sponsors will assist the baseball team in purchasing equipment this season and also help with their travel expenses. A gross and a net champion were recognized and each of these winning teams split a $400 cash prize. Other players received door prizes including Robert Trent Jones trail cards, gift certificates to Wintzell’s Oyster House and Alabama Grill as well as gifts from Your Golf Superstore in Montgomery and Quality COOP in Greenville.
