Storms hit Butler county Tuesday night

Tuesday night storms quickly whipped through Butler County, but other than one tree on a power line, no damage was reported in the county.
At the height of the storms, Pioneer Electric reported over 700 customers without power.
Currently, there are still 20 customers without power in the Mt. Pleasant area of Butler County.
In the Daisy area just north of Greenville, there are still two customers without power.
Crews are working in the Greenville area, where 13 customers are still without power.
One customer remains without power just south of Greenville.
In the Avant area of Butler County, two customers are still without power.
In the Georgiana area, 11 customers in the area of Lakeview and Edgewood Drives are still without power.
Less than five in the vicinity of Oakwood Street are still waiting on power to be restored.
Alabama Power reported 18 customers affected by the outage in the Kolb City area.
Eleven customers are still waiting for power on Crosby Lane and portions of Snow Dr.
More than 14,000 customers were affected state wide by power outages from this latest storm. Both power companies have crews out working to restore power, and the estimated time of completion for both is between 11:30 a.m. and noon today.
