I’m sure there will be several readers who will pick up their copy of The Greenville Advocate today and wonder, “Where is the election coverage?”
Due to The Advocate’s print schedule, today’s edition will not feature coverage from the election. The press deadline for our newspaper typically is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, hours before polls begin closing and votes are tallied.
While print coverage of these local results may not be available until the Nov. 16 edition, election results will be available via our website as we receive updated information. We hope and expect that to be either late Tuesday night, or Wednesday morning, so check our website regularly, and we’ll also use our Facebook page to notify the public when final numbers are posted.
Election Day presents its share of challenges for everyone involved in the process, and we’ll be doing our best to overcome the challenges on our end in order to give you the latest news on the races you’re actively following.
Please be patient as we work with officials to bring you these updates, as we want to make certain they are accurate and verified before we publish them.
To our print subscribers, we hope you enjoy reading about some of our local veterans, some fundraisers recently held in the county, and recent renovation updates.
There’s plenty happening throughout Butler County, and we’re eager to bring these stories to the attention of community members.
