Msgt. Lowell S. Till, age 68, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 surrounded by his family.  Msgt. Till was born July 23, 1953 to Merton “Ham” Till (Chief Master Sergeant USAF Ret.) and Ella Claire Rhodes Till of Greenville, AL. Lowell was preceded in death by his wife Luanne and both his parents. He is survived by his daughters Rachel (Neil) Sharpton and Bailey (Preston) Waller; his grandchildren Emma Grace, Charlotte Rhodes and Phillip Remus; his sister Cindy Walker of Louisiana, Merri Bloodsworth of Alabama and Dara Fowler of Pennsylvania as well as his many nieces and nephews. A retired master sergeant with the USAF, Mr. Till was an avid gardener and lover of the Crimson Tide. Even his Saturday afternoon memorial has been scheduled to allow time for the game. He enjoyed his family, especially his role as “Granddude.” Above all else, he never met a dog he couldn’t love. A celebration of life memorial service for Msgt. Till will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Rhodes Methodist Chapel, 4624 Petibone Road, Greenville, Alabama 36037. The family would like to extend their special thanks to all of his friends and fellows in arms. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Msgt. Till’s memory may be made to Humane Society.
