Dorothy Bass, 86, of Georgiana passed away at her granddaughters home on Saturday.

The funeral service was Sunday, August 29.

Brother Randy Harvill officiated.

Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery.

Her husband Winford Bass, son Mike Bass, and parents Forrest and Zerlene Brogden preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children Helen Shell (Larry), JoEllen Houston (Ken), and Patsy Husband; grandchildren Matthew Shell (Laura), Trent Houston (Laura), Andrea Houston (Brandon Turner), Clint Bass (Amy), Kayla Ledbetter (Matt), Kevin Husband (Briana), Lee Husband (Tara), Kendra Morrow, Kristen Morrow, and Bridget Johnson (James); great grandchildren Brady Shell, Bonnie Ellen Houston, Collin Turner, Christian Turner, Alexandria Bass, Ben Bass, Claire Bass, Jadyn Bass, Drew Ledbetter, Brix Ledbetter, Braxton Husband, Paisleigh Husband, Daniel Rossi, Kaitlyn Johnson, Krisalyn Johnson, Kam Johnson and Jack Houston; brothers Chester Brogden (Faye) and Willie Marvin Brogden; loving caregiver Teresa Beverly; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
