Georgiana will host basketball camp to benefit schools basketball program
Georgiana high school will be hosting a three-day summer youth basketball camp starting June 7.
The camp, which is open to both boys and girls between the ages of 7 to 14, will allow children to learn basketball skills from staff and players from the basketball team.
Besides learning fundamental basketball skills, the camp will also feature daily competition and gameplay, including gotcha, hotspot free throw competitions, and five-on-five games.
Prizes for camp champions get presented during the last day of camp.
Parents looking to enroll their children in the camp will need to register by May 27. Children enrolled before this deadline will receive a Georgiana basketball camp t-shirt.
Late registration will be on June 7 before the start of camp.
Registration includes a twenty-five-dollar fee per camper. All proceeds will go to the Georgiana basketball program.
