Fewer local businesses are masking up

While Alabama Governor Kay Ivey announced the end of the mask mandate, many businesses struggled to decide what their facemask policy would be going forward.
In spite of this, now that some time has passed since the initial announcement, many Butler County businesses have finally decided what they will do moving forward.
Below is a list of Butler County business with information regarding their current and future mask policies.
Obviously, this list is subject to change in the future.
Business that require masks
- Stucky’s Barber and Style: Customers must wear a mask when sitting inside. Even so, they may remove them when getting their haircut. It should be noted that these policies will remain after the end of the mandate.
- Marilyn’s Hair Design: Customers must wear a mask and get their temperature checked. In addition to this, a mask must always be worn at all times unless a customer has requested a face wax. These policies will remain after the end of the mandate.
Youngs Fashion and Beauty: Customers must wear a mask.
Businesses that don’t require masks:
- The Grooming Company: Customers may choose to wear a mask.
- Subway: Customers may choose to wear a mask and may dine inside the establishment.
- Johnsons Furniture: Customers may choose to wear a mask.
- Lawson Body Shop: Customers may choose to wear a mask.
- Community Neighbor Bank: Customers may choose to wear a mask.
- Comfort Inn – Customers must wear a mask.
- Best Western- Customers must wear a mask.
