Crash causes long delay on I65 northbound
Commuters were stuck on Interstate 65 northbound in Butler County Tuesday evening after a two-vehicle crash caused traffic to come to a standstill.
Unable to travel past Greenville, commuters were stuck for an hour.
According to reports, the crash occurred near mile marker 137, located between Greenville and Fort Deposit.
No major injuries were reported.
According to Greenville Police Chief Justin Lovvorn, roads were reopened around 6:15 p.m., and traffic was able to get moving again shortly after.
