Crash causes long delay on I-65 northbound

A two-vehicle crash caused traffic to come to a standstill Tuesday evening. It happened on Interstate 65 northbound in Butler County.
Undoubtedly, the traffic would cause a one hour delay for commuters. They were unable to travel past Greenville
According to reports, the crash occurred near mile marker 137, located between Greenville and Fort Deposit.
No major injuries reported.
According to Greenville Police Chief Justin Lovvorn, roads reopened around 6:15 p.m., and traffic moved again shortly after.
