Macon East gets 13-0 win over CCA on Friday

CCA’s varsity baseball team watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-0 loss to Macon-East Montgomery Academy on Friday. Macon-East scored on a walk by Jabe Boroff, a stolen base by Colby Cox, and a stolen base by Tanner Moore in the first inning.
CCA struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Macon-East, giving up 13 runs.
Macon-East fired up the offense in the first inning, when Boroff drew a walk, scoring one run.
One bright spot for the Cougars was a single by Austin Archie in the second inning.
Kirkland Pugh led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Macon-East.
Chandler Mitchell was on the hill for the Cougars. He pitched four innings, allowing 13 runs on 12 hits.
Brayden Moore and Archie each managed one hit to lead the Cougars.
