Brantley holds off Charles Henderson for 13-12 victory on Saturday

Despite seeing its eight-run lead whittled down by the end, Brantley Bulldogs still held off Charles Henderson for a 13-12 victory on Saturday.
Jack Kennedy led BHS to victory by driving in five runs. Kennedy went 3-for-5 at the plate. Kennedy drove in runs on a fielder’s choice in the first, a double in the second, and a double in the fifth.
Bulldogs fired up the offense in the first inning. Kennedy hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.
Bulldogs tallied six runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught by Bulldogs was led by Kaleb Weed, Tucker Kilcrease, Carson Jones, and Kennedy, who all drove in runs.
Kilcrease led things off on the mound for Bulldogs. The righthander went four innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out four.
Kennedy went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Bulldogs in hits.
