Molly Martin had all the right stuff on Friday for Crenshaw Christian Academy JV Lady Cougars, allowing zero runs and besting Lowndes Academy by a score of 5-0
Crenshaw Christian Academy JV Lady Cougars put up three runs in the second inning. Crenshaw Christian Academy JV Lady Cougars put the pressure on, lead by a single by Jaidyn Lamberc and an error on a ball put in play by Brianna Toney.
A single by C Wallace in the first inning was a positive for Lowndes Academy.
Martin was the winning pitcher for Crenshaw Christian Academy JV Lady Cougars. The hurler surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out seven.
Alice took the loss for Lowndes Academy. The bulldog lasted two innings, allowing two hits and five runs while striking out four.
Lamberc and Martin each collected one hit to lead Crenshaw Christian Academy JV Lady Cougars. Crenshaw Christian Academy JV Lady Cougars didn’t commit a single error in the field. Toney had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
