Around 2 pm Tuesday afternoon, the Luverne Volunteer Fire Department responded to their second structure fire in less than 12 hours.

A double wide mobile home located at 177 Cedar Creek Road, off Petrey Highway, was engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived. The Luverne fire department responded with three units.  They also requested the tanker task force respond to the fire. Rutledge, Fullers Crossroads, NEC, Brantley, and Glenwood fire departs were called in for additional manpower and salvage.

Cause of the fire is under investigation at this time by the Crenshaw County Sheriff Department and the story will be updated as more information is made available.
