A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Jan Hester, 73, of McKenzie will be held at 2pm on Thursday February 4th, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Hester passed away Tuesday at Evergreen Medical Center. 

She is survived by her children Lonette Bentley and Gerald McInvale (Toni); grandchildren Justin Gorum, Alicia Bentley, Alexis Bentley Young, Brett Bentley, Ashley McInvale, and Jessie McInvale; great grandchildren Aubree Gorum and Steele Gray Eagan; sisters Lynn Gorum (Kenneth), Gayle Tomlinson (LeeTee); nieces Amy Ward, Andrea Millheim, and Amanda Millheim; nephews Shawn Bobo and Michael Hayes; and family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Joseph Mack Hester IV. 

She spent most of her life caring for children and owned and operated Jan’s Daycare for many years. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church. She loved collecting Jewelery and clothes. She loved to sew and DIY everything!
