Georgiana School to have catch-up vaccine clinic

Georgiana School will have a free “catch-up” vaccination clinic on Feb. 17.
The clinic is for students who are missing one or more of their needed vaccinations for school attendance.
Parents can expect consent forms to be sent home prior to the clinic.
The clinics are for fifth graders who are entering the sixth grade and for any sixth through 12th grader who are non-compliant.
Only 12th graders are available for the MCVB- Meningococcal B vaccine.
Other vaccines that will be offered are Tdap – Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, MCV- Meningococcal ACWY and HPV.
