Mr. Bobby Sherill Reeves I, 76, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on January 5, 2021.  A memorial service will be held on March 20, 2021 at a time and place not yet determined.  Mr. Reeves will be laid to rest next to his wife in a private ceremony with immediate family only. 

Mr. Reeves was a lifetime resident of the Beat 12 community near Brantley.  He worked in the timber industry for over 40 years as a logger.   He loved to hunt deer and watch Alabama play football on Saturdays.  He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched. 

Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jean Reeves and his son, Bobby Sherill Reeves II, and his parents, Leander and Clemmie Reeves, and six siblings, Dolly Owens, Doris Boswell, Gladys Boswell, Connie Hayes, Olin Reeves and Bill Reeves.  He is survived by four children, Teresa Walden, Sandra (Michael) Kolb, Michelle (Michael) Thebarge, Shana Reeves and one daughter-in-law Christy Reeves; twelve grandchildren, Paul Walden, Corey Walden, Matthew Walden, Tara Walden, Gabrielle Kolb, Aaron Kolb, Maira Thebarge, Michael Thebarge, Sam Reeves, Tyler Reeves, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Feltz, and Sarah Anne Feltz; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sibling Thurman (Doris) Reeves.
