Mrs. Linda Money Bolling, 72, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away at Crenshaw Community Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The family held a private graveside service for Mrs. Bolling at 11 AM on Friday, January 7th, in Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Dunford Cole officiating.
Mrs. Bolling treasured her family above all else on this earth. She was devoted to looking after all of those whom she loved so dearly, and they flourished under her care and attention. That same love was also showered on the four-legged members of her family. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and shopping for deals on QVC. Her cooking skills were legendary in the family as well, with favorites being her dressing, lasagna, and homemade dumplings (which any cook knows is no easy task). She definitely had a sweet tooth that she occasionally indulged, while she also enjoyed her candles and angels. Her love for angels came as no surprise as she was like an angel on earth to those she loved. She also loved hummingbirds and cuddling down in her favorite cuddle dud pajamas and warm fuzzy socks. Her family and friends loved her more dearly than words could properly express, and they will miss her presence in their lives from now on. However, they find solace in the knowledge that she is now rejoicing in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where she only knows peace and comfort.
Mrs. Bolling was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Cynthia Bolling, and her parents, Louis & Louise Shelnut. She is survived by her husband of 56 Years, Jesse Lamar Bolling; their three children, Jesse Lamar “Rod” Bolling Jr, Darren Ross “Hoss” Bolling, and Lesa (Joey) Johnson; four grandchildren, Joseph Erinn (Mallie) Johnson, Nicholas Trey Johnson, Jesse Jacob Bolling, and Brandon Matthew Bolling; and great-grandson, Emerson Ross Johnson.
Active pallbearers were Paten Powell, Tyler Powell, Tobey Powell, James Sankey, Shaun Lewis, and Keith Edward Fowler.
