The Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for this year’s Citizen of the Year.
The person will be honored at the banquet this spring.
The criteria for nominating a Citizen of the Year can be some of the following:
• Civic-minded
• Giving of time and heart without recognition or remuneration
• History of volunteering in a Community or in the County
• Contributes to the welfare of the County or a Community
• Charitable Activities
• Business, church or community leader
The Chamber is asking that you give considerable thought to this selection and that you nominate someone whom you feel best embodies some of the above criteria – for instance, someone who gives to the community or county outside of their job.
Nomination forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce office.
The Board of Directors will receive and tabulate the nominations and advise you, the membership, of your selection. Please return this form by January 12, 2021.
The Chamber is working on a date and location for the banquet and will notify you as soon as a date is selected.
Last year, Brantley Mayor Bernie Sullivan was named Citizen of the Year.
