Fugitives from justices caught in Crenshaw

Crenshaw County deputies arrested two Tennessee residents who were fugitives from justice.
Sheriff Terry Mears said that on Nov. 6, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Deputy Marcus Laster initiated a traffic stop on a Jeep Patriot was speeding on Montgomery Hwy., near the Highland Home Fire Department.
Mears said when Laster made contact with the occupants – Taya Donahue, Kevin Williams and Ashlie Haynes – he discovered that Williams and Haynes each had felony fugitive from justice warrants from Hamilton County, Tenn.
Laster also discovered marijuana and methamphetamine inside the Patriot.
Mears said that all three were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana second degree and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Williams and Haynes were held in the Crenshaw County Jail for extradition to Hamilton County.
