Week to bring fall fun across county

Along with this Thursday night’s planned Trick or Treat Drive-Thru on Tiger Drive (in front of Greenville High School) from 5:30 to 7 p.m., several churches and organizations across the area are planning to hold festive fall events this week.
Antioch East Baptist Church on Stage Road near Greenville will be holding an outside Trunk or Treat event from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
Walnut Street Church of Christ in Greenville is holding a harvest event at 7 p.m. following regular evening services on Sunday night, November 1.
First United Methodist Church on Adams St. in Greenville is planning a drive-through trunk or treat rain or shine under the church’s fellowship hall portico tonight (Wednesday) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
In south Butler County, the Georgiana Pentecostal Church (located across from the old Georgiana High School building) is hosting a fall festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 31. Games, cake walk, face painting and hay rides are all planned, with COVID protocols to be followed.
