Highland Home School will kick off its pre-game homecoming activities on Thursday evening, October 15, at 7. This year, the formal assembly will be held at Clay Jordan Stadium where the 2020 Homecoming Court will be introduced and alumni will be recognized. A pep rally will immediately follow the assembly.
On Friday, October 16, at 10a.m., the school will welcome the returning class of 2011 with a tea in the library. At 1 p.m. we will have more campus festivities, where elementary classes will pull decorated wagons through our campus. Alumni, parents, and community members are invited. HHS staff members ask that you socially distance yourself and wear a mask while on campus.
The Squadron Pride Band will perform their pre-game show at 6:30 p.m. The Squadron will take the field against Southside Selma Panthers at 7 p.m. At half-time, Miss Homecoming 2020, Hanna Weeks, will be crowned and her court will be presented.
This year’s theme is Highland Home where all roads lead home.
Tickets will be available for purchase on Tuesday, October 13 and can be bought through noon on Friday, October 16th. See Adrian Daniels, athletic director, to purchase tickets.
The court includes:
Brookelyn Frazier – Elementary attendant, Mary Miles – Jr. high attendant, Quintasia June – Sophomore attendant, Jeci Taylor – Miss Football, Hanna Weeks – Queen, Jasmine Sampley – Senior attendant, Hannah Cobb – Junior attendant, Ally McElwain – Freshman attendant, Hadleigh Bowen – Primary attendant
