A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Union Cemetery in Georgiana for the family and friends of Jack Marvin Burkett, 83, of Fort Deposit, who died on Wednesday, May 27, in Greenville. The Rev. Eric Jackson will officiate.

His father, Ernest Andrew Burkett; mother, Vivian Ella (Williams) Burkett; brother, Max Ernest Burkett, and sons, Jack Michael Burkett and Kerry Marvin Burkett, preceded Jack in death.

Survivors include his daughter, April Burkett (George) Reid of Fort Deposit; grandchildren, Corey Michael (Sara) Burkett of Hope Hull, Koby Reynolds Burkett of Phenix City and Josie Noelle Reid Adkison of Fort Deposit; great grandchildren, Chase Michael Burkett and Gabriel Reid Adkison and nephew, Max Andrew Burkett.
