Mrs. Mary Julia Clark Haws, 84, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020.
Funeral services for Mrs. Haws were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment followed in Springhill Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Haws attended Dozier High School, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Billy Haws. Together they owned and operated Brantley Auto Parts for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She was a faithful member of her church, and she loved nothing more than spending time with her family and neighbors. She will be sorely missed by all those she leaves behind.
Mrs. Haws was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Billy Haws; father, Louil C. Clark; mother, Bela Mae Clark Loveless; and five siblings. She is survived by her three children, Jackie (Michael) Barnes, Kathi (Gerald) Wallace, and Stan (Patsy) Haws; six beloved grandchildren, Nathan (Cody) Nichols, Rachel (Wes) Johns, Braxton (Kendall) Barnes, Shane Haws, Chase (Savannah) Haws, and Clay Haws (Peyton Hill); five great-grandchildren with two more on the way; three siblings, Rhonda (Jimmy) Cope, Faye (Jimmy) Timmons, and Ennis (Clara) Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Active pallbearers were Nathan Nichols, Shane Haws, Chase Haws, Braxton Barnes, Clay Haws, Mark Nichols, and Eli Nichols.
