Mr. Milton Earnest Hudson, 72, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Funeral services for Mr. Hudson were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, at Danielville Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Leverette and Rev. Clay Crum officiating. Interment followed in Danielville Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Hudson proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved working with his hands, which first led him to construction work before he settled on driving a truck for a living. He was dedicated to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and served as a Baptist minister for many years as well. Above all, he was a dedicated family man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family more than anything on earth. They will all miss him more than words can express.

Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, Ferman Lee and Mildred “Bill” Owens Hudson, and his son-in-law, Tracy Dale McCullough. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Moseley Hudson; their three children, Michelle McCullough, Gerald Hudson, and Clarence (Victoria) Hudson; two grandchildren, Kristen (Austin) Norris and Kent McCullough; three siblings, Faye Canterbury, Louise Vaughn, and Peggy (O’Neil) Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Active pallbearers were Travis Canterbury, Michael Canterbury, Adam Dantzler, Ron McGough, Ben McGough, and George Brantley. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Moseley and Steve Jackson.
