A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Georgiana for Nelda Joyce Brown, 90, of McKenzie, who passed away on Tuesday, Sept. l7. Burial followed in Elizabeth Cemetery. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Her husband, James Brown, and a son, Lamar Brown, preceded Joyce in death.

Survivors include, daughters, Nelda Windham of Orange Beach; Sissi (Keith) McKnight of Snowden and Tracy Brown of McKenzie; son, Steve (Kristy) Brown of McKenzie; grandchildren, Eric Brown, Blake Brown and Brooklyn Brown and great grandchildren, Jayden Gentry and Colton Brown.
