Mrs. Frances Nuckolls Franklin, 97, a resident of Goshen, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

Funeral services for Mrs. Franklin were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 22, at Glenwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Weeks and Rev. John Whitfield officiating.

Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Franklin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Her unique personality left an indelible impression on everyone she met, and, if there was something going on in her community, you could depend on her knowing all about it.

She will be dearly missed by all those she leaves behind.

Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her husband, Brown Franklin; grandson, Bill Boyd; son-in-law, Robert Boyd Sr; her parents, Frank and Erin Brunson Nuckolls; and her sister, Whitman Till.

She is survived by her three children, Martha Boyd, Anne (Jerry) Folmar, and Joe (Sandra) Franklin; two grandsons, Robert Boyd Jr and David Folmar; and two great-grandsons, Ben and Luke Boyd. Active pallbearers were Robert Boyd Jr, David Folmar, Ben Boyd, and Luke Boyd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bethel Cemetery Fund, ℅ William McDougald, 1238 Davis Road, Brantley, Alabama 36009.
