Congratulations to 2019 Graduates
Greenville High School, Greenville, Alabama Graduation is an exciting word. It implies the completion or achievement of a milestone in your life. Our lives are a continual process of graduating; from birth we learn how to adapt and survive and we graduate from being dependent on others to depending on ourselves. We graduate from crawling to running, from physical gestures to actual speech, from childhood to adulthood. Today we celebrate the graduation of the 2019 Senior class of Greenville High School as they complete this phase of their life journey. As a former graduate of Greenville High I take great pride in congratulating all graduates but I take special pleasure in celebrating the achievements of my niece, Ja’Maya Alexis Coleman, Valedictorian for Greenville High School’s Class of 2019. Ja’Maya is the daughter of Angelica Crenshaw and Willie Coleman Jr. and the sister of QuinDarrius Crenshaw and Brayden Coleman. She served as her senior year Class President (2018-2019) and she has been a member of several organizations including the National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta (President), National Spanish Honor Society, and Key Club (President). Ja’Maya plans to continue her education at Alabama A&M University in Normal, AL on an AAMU Merit Scholarship majoring in accounting. A message that bears repeating; always seek knowledge, strive to always do the best you can and make an effort to help someone along the way. In doing these simple things you will build a strong foundation that will empower you to amazing achievements!
