There are lots of baseball and softball games going on in a variety of youth divisions around the city.
In Ozone action at Beeland Park on April 16, the Angels topped the Rangers 7-5.
For the Angels, Jack Brogden led the way with a single and a double and scoring two runs. Brenton Taylor also had a single and scored a run as did Brach Tolson. Jaiden Dunklin, Trace Stinson and Tyler Edwards also scored runs for the winners.
For the Rangers, John Ross Hollingshead had a single and scored, Dain Winter smacked a double and scored, Paxton Moorer had a single and scored and Clay Gunter and Asher Young each scored a run.
Also in Ozeon Action at Beeland Park on April 16, the Red Sox defeated the Rangers 5-4. Sandrell Williams hit a home run and scored two runs for the Red Sox. Austin Beck had a double and a single and scored two runs and Jack Holley had a single and scored. For the Rangers, Hollingshead had a double and scored, Winters, Moorer and Jackson Richland each had a single and scored a run.
In Ponytials action on Field 2, the Krushers beat the Challengers 4-3 on April 16. Tajunna Griffin and Jamaya Grey each had doubles and scored a run. Emily Cauthen had a single and Addison Huggins and Leigha Rideway each scored. Emily Cauthen also had seven strikeouts on the mound. For the challengers, Kenadie Mount had two singles and scored a run and Bailey Labmert and Kaitlyn Oliver each had a single and scored a run. Lambert also struck out five on the mound.
In other Ponytails action on Field 2 on april 16, Showtime scored 23 runs in defeating Dynamite 23-4. Lexi Reeves scored two runs, Hayden Bozeman scored twice and singled, Anna Thomas scored three runs and added a double and a triple, Jada Hardaway scored two runs, Lela Mansman had a single and scored twice, Justice James had two singles and scored three times, Karlee Bordeaux had two singles and scored a run and Kaylee Bolding scored two runs. Thomas had seven strikeouts on the mound. For the Dynamite, Presley Hamilton hit a home run and smacked a triple and scored two runs, Layla McCall had a single and scored a run, Brinkley Long had two singles and scored a run and Brooklyn Wright had a single.
In Angels action on Field 3 on April 16, the Shockers beat the Explosion 11-6. For the Shockers, Tucker Hamilton, Ella Ealum and Alie Mount each scored two runs. Canoriyah McGhee, Caylee Parson, Caroline Campbell, Ella Cook, Ansley Pickett and Caylee Heartsill each scored a run. For the Explosion, Emma Phillips had a hit and scored a run, as did Aiyah Davidson. Summer Sheffield had a hit and Jayla Anderson, Nariya Johnson, Jaida Davidson and Addie Phillips each scored runs.
In other Angels action on Field 3 on April 16, the Diamond Sluggers beat the Shockers 8-2. For the Diamond Sluggers, Natalie Skipper had two hits and scored two runs. Elly Daniel scored two runs and Paisley Hunneycutt, Alicianna McWilliams, Ryleigh Grace Hartley and Anyah Cobb each scored once and had a hit. For the Shockers, Tucker Hamilton and Ella Ealum each scored and Alie Mount had a hit.
On April 15 on Field 2 in Darlings Action, the Ball Hawgs topped the Knockouts 12-0. The Ball Hawgs got strong performances out of Alyssa Cauthen who scored twice and had three singles, Miley Sorrels who had a triple and a single and scored, Chloe Chun who sccored twice and had a double and a single, allie Newton who scored twice and had a double and a triple, Olivia Freeman who scored once and had a double, Vaylee Faster who ha d a double, Vayden Pigott who scored a run and had a single, Meghan Jones who scored a run and had a single and Makayla Hawkins who had a single. Kadence Davis hit a home run. For the Knockouts, Parker Stinson had two singles, Ansley Taylor had a single, Payton Powell had a single and Malaya Abrams had a single.
Also on April 15, the Knockouts beat the Firecrackers 10-8.
Bailey Sexton hit a homerun and a single and scored two runs to help lead the Knockouts. Also for the Knockouts, Ansley Taylor scored a run and had two singles, Payton Powell had two singles and scored a run, Gracen Finklea scored two runs and had two singles, Parjer Stinson had a triple and scored a run, Madelyn Young scored twice and had two singles, Ryleigh Peters scored once and had a single and McKenzie Lewis had a single. For the Firecrackers, Ja’Nivan Longmire scored once and had a single, Aubrey Davis scored once and had a double, Ann Knox McLendon scored three times and had a double and two singles, Sarah Catherine Skipper scored twice and had two singles, Khloe Hamilton had three singles and scored once, Kaeden Hinson had a single, Tatum Seale had a single, Lamariya Bellamy had a single Alaina Hall had a single and Lexie Foster had single.
In Mite action on april 15 at Beeland Park, the Dodgers beat the Red Sox 3-1. For the Red Sox, Daxton Proveaex had a hit and scored. The Dodgers were led by Jesse Harp, Gabriel Shirley and Jaxon Albert who eat scored a run and had a hit.
On April 15 in Dixie Minor action, the Mariners beat the Orioles 5-2. The Mariners were led by Jackson Black who scored twice and had two hits, Griffen Gaston who had a hit and scored, Charlie Williamson who scored and Jeremiyah Coleman who had a hit and scored. For the Orioles, Von Harris scored, as did Brix Ledbeher. Maliki Abrams and Hunter Bozeman each had hits.
Also on April 15 in Mite action at Beeland Park, the Astros beat the Rays 7-6. For the Astors, Isaiah Elliot got two hits and scored twice and did Dalton Newton and Jesse McNeil. Clayton Conway scored once and had a hit. On the Rays side, Cooper Mount and Rylan Beck each scored twice and had two hits. Fields Rogers scored once and had two hits and Dawson Sexton scored once and added a hit.
On April 12, in Angels action on Field 2, the Explosion beat the Shockers 22-10. Summer Sheffield hit a home run and Andrea Lewis scored three runs, Brielle Cook had a hit and scored three runs and Emma Phillips had three hits and scored three runs. For the Shockers, Ella Ealum, Alie Mount an Caroline Campbell each had a hit and scored twice.
In Dixie Minor action on Field 3 on April 15, the Marlins beat the Cardinals 8-7. The Cardinals were led by Trip Albert who hit a grand slam and scored twice. Albert also had a single. Kemper Waters scored a run, Preston Williams scored two runs and Vincent Salvage, Carter Matthews and John Edward Rhodes each scored a run. For the Cardinals, Braxton Hatley had a hit ans cred and Brayden Young, Tyler Holyfield, Jabob Stinso, Ryan Adams, Tyler Schofield and Alex Edwards each scored a run.
