Greenville man charged with missing teen’s murder

Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden released the name of the suspect jailed for the murder of missing Montgomery teen Maura McCoy from the steps of the Courthouse at 1 p.m. today.
Harrison Cole English of Greenville is currently being held at the Butler County Correctional Facility on a $500,000 bond. He has been charged with the 18-year-old’s murder.
McCoy’s body was discovered in a wooded area off Mt. Pisgah Road in the southwest portion of Butler County Sunday afternoon. Harden said a tip led them to her body.
No other information regarding the case has been released.
