Mr. George Lewis Jr., 93, a resident of Greenville, Ala., passed away on Monday Feb. 12, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 from 3 – 5 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church.

Mr. George was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. & Mrs. George Lewis Sr.; his wife, Ruthie L. Lewis; and two sons, Roosevelt Lewis and Charles Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories: eight children, Willie George Lewis, Ruth Williams, Johnnie Lee Lewis, Levy Lewis, Diahanne (Paul) Hartman, Jerry (Patricia) Lewis and Anna (Willie) Hale all of Greenville, Ala., and Gloria (Jesse) Scott of Troy, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
