Crash involving train claims two lives, injures third

Two people lost their lives and another was injured in a single-vehicle crash at a railroad crossing south of Greenville, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Brittany Harris, 22-year-old Greenville native, was killed when a CSX train struck the 2003 Ford Explorer she occupied at the crossing on Solomon Hill Road, located near the Bolling community approximately eight miles south of Greenville.
The crash occurred Thursday evening shortly after 8:30 p.m.
A second passenger, who remains unidentified until family members are notified, was also killed. Both were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 30-year-old Justin Dewayne Stinson of Greenville, was transported by helicopter to Baptist South in Montgomery for treatment.
