Mr. Cecil Lee Schofield, 80, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Georgiana Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Awin Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends onTuesday, July 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Schofield was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Opal Schofield, and his former wife, Carolyn Faye Schofield.

He is survived by his children, Sonya Sawyer of Georgiana, Ala., Sarita Schofield of Honoraville, Ala., and Tasha Schofield (Leroy Nelson) of Georgiana, Ala.; grandchild, Travis Andrew Schofield of Alexander City, Ala.; sisters, Jewel McCormick of Greenville, Ala., and Birdie Mae Thomas of Greenville, Ala., and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
