Memorial services for Mr. Willie James Thomas Jr. will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1 p.m. from Clara G. Hudson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Ala., will be directing.

Mr. Willie James Thomas Jr. (Poochy) was born to Mr. Willie James Sr. and Clara White Thomas on July 9, 1970 in Greenville, Ala. He departed this life April 25, 2017 at John F. Kennedy Hospital in Lake Worth, Fla.

Willie received his education through the Butler County School System. He was a member of Greenwood Church of God in Christ. Willie began to travel at a young age and finally migrated to Florida in 1995. He was a very carefree and fun loving person.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Dominique Bedgood, Greenville, Ala.; two sons, Derrick Bedgood, Troy, Ala., and Patrick Bedgood, Greenville, Ala.; a loving father, Willie J. Thomas Sr., and mother, Clara M.

Thomas, both of Anniston, Ala.; beloved sisters, Priscilla Devose, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Velma Boggan, Anniston, Ala.; two brothers, Elder Jammy (Myra) Thomas, Jacksonville, Ala., and Johnathon Thomas, Tallassee, Ala.; three grandchildren, Sahriyah Bedgood and Chance Howard, both of Greenville, Ala., and Camelia Brown, Troy, Ala.; a devoted aunt, Sarah (Johnnie) Johnson, Greenville, Ala.; a loving cousin, James Curtis Smith, Greenville, Ala.; five nieces, five nephews, two great nieces, three great nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
